Our JAX Tyres & Auto Prahran store is proudly owned and operated by Shanan Wright, who took over the store in 2022 after starting with JAX in 2016 as a manager at another one of our JAX stores. He embraced the opportunity to invest in his own business and apply his extensive experience in the automotive industry.
Shanan and the JAX Prahran team are passionate about providing the best service and finding the right solutions for their customers' vehicles, ensuring they have peace of mind on the road. Shanan takes pride in being the go-to automotive repairer for some of Melbourne’s famous comedians.
In his free time, Shanan enjoys spending time with his family and walking his Blue Heeler dog, Sophie. He has also completed two Ironman events, a remarkable personal achievement.

Check they have filled your service log book as this is the only item missed a couple times, however the invoice in very detailed and can just be folded in the service book page.

I share the thumbs up with so many others. I've been to the Prahran store twice -first for brakes & tyres and second for a service, and have been really happy with my experience both times. The only negative is that street parking at their place is at a premium but that's obviously not their fault. I'm sure the do their best with the parking inspectors - but haven't copped a ticket yet. I guess they're on top of that! However as far as mechanics and tyres / brakes etc are concerned, I simply won't go anywhere else. My car's an Audi and got sick and tired of being ripped off by their network - so I honestly can't see myself going anywhere else but Jaxs.

First time using JAX, originally booked online, was called the following day, guy explained the road was going to be dug up, explained the tyre could get delivered a day early, I explained I could visit today if that works, quick call back an hour later, tyres in, flexible with times I took the 2pm, arrived, straight in, ask if I could give them 25 mins, and of course, returned tyre was changed and the car was parked, I think where this garage stands out is firstly speed, but secondly I was advised the other side is worth considering for a change, he did not offer to sell me a tyre, he gave me solid advice, solid advice something a lot of garages struggle to provide, the norm is just another sale shoved down your throat! again guys I have many years’ experience in the motor trade, and you stood out as one of the best, see you soon and again, thanks for being so accommodating.

Squeezed me in on a Friday afternoon once the new ones arrived and again the following week when I had them assess a rattle coming from the front wheel area after the install.

These guys save me from alot of trouble, assessment was clear and direct, they've done the job on the same day, provided all the parts which includes warranty and price was I think reasonable enough. I was stranded, Ross,and his team at Jax saved me. I live way on the other side of town and had a flat tyre which was my spare, I drove to 3 other tyre shops in the area with the flat tyre. Not one of them had any of the customer service qualities, you would expect when you desperately need help, I was turned away with the flat tyre on the car. I eventually made way to Jax tyres prahran I could see they were busy ,and it was around 4.00 pm Now my tyre was completely shredded, which makes the job much harder , i spoke with Ross, he looked outside at my car, and said dont worry we'll get that fixed up,which they did he even offered me a coffee. It was a pleasant experience , especially after having a horrible day, and thinking these guys definitely won't help when I saw how busy the shop was. Great service at a good price. The tyre on my car that was now completely shredded, was my spare tyre , I had a car with equipment , to deliver and assemble to my customers. Ross took care of both of my flat wheels. Thanks again Ross , was a pleasure to meet you.

This will allow you to then add your vehicle registration and search for tyres suitable for your vehicle. Alternatively you may like to search by vehicle or by tyre size from the homepage or under the Tyres drop down at the top of the page.
Select the tyres you prefer and a time to have them fitted and consider the benefits of a wheel alignment. Proceed to the cart to add your details and checkout.
All purchases include fitting, balancing, tubeless valve, waste tyre management fee & GST will be provided at the JAX Tyres & Auto store of your choosing. All orders are completed at your selected store. JAX Tyres & Auto does not deliver automotive parts to alternative addresses.

Original Equipment tyre sizes shown in search results for particular vehicles are determined based on the best information currently available to us from vehicle manufacturers and from manual inspection of new vehicles as they are released. Many vehicles have optional trim levels/packages that include different tyre sizes. This Additional Model Info is listed for you to choose from in search results as well.
Since variations based on options or vehicle manufacturer changes may determine the Original Equipment tyre size on your vehicle, always verify the size you are purchasing matches the tyre size for your vehicle, usually found on the placard located inside the driver’s door, glove box or fuel cap, or in the Owner's Manual.

Consider whether your vehicle has a spare tyre or allocated storage space for a spare. If not, your vehicle will potentially be stranded in the event of a puncture.
