Our JAX Tyres & Auto Essendon store is proudly owned and operated by Inderpal Singh, who joined JAX in 2022. Inderpal is motivated by the ever changing challenges in the workshop and strives to find the best solutions to provide peace of mind driving for his customers.

Very helpful front desk staff. I have used them for 2 sets of tyres for 2 different cars and got a competitive discount for both sets of tyres. My latest visit to their Mount Alexander Road shop was for a puncture repair, positive result and experience. Their estimate on when the vehicle or tyre would be ready was accurate on all 3 occasions and I was never kept waiting.

In addition the team had performed a proactive car battery check and the battery had failed the test. This helped me replace the same battery under warranty in the background on the same day. My tyre got puncture so I had to ring around to have it replaced ASAP because I need the car for work. After being at Costco tyre shop, they told me to replace the tyre as it has been damaged. I called up Jax tyre shop and spoke to Dianne. Dianne was able to place an order for my tyre and arranged an appointment for the replacement the next day. However, after being checked by the staff, it turned out that the tyre only needed a repair. Dianne was happy to keep the ordered tyre as spare stock and only charged me a repair without additional cost. Thank you Dianne. You're a star!! I would highly recommend and return for future services.

Jax were my 3rd call for the afternoon after 1 place didn't answer and another place had a rude male on the phone hang up on me. Diane was able to squeeze me in on a Saturday morning to get my tyre looked at (suspected nail in my tyre). Being a female, I dread going anywhere car related, but Diane made the whole experience so easy. 100% recommend seeing the team at Jax in Essendon.

Absolutely sensational service, great prices and a very friendly team to do business with at Jax Tyres and Auto Essendon! I purchased a car in Sydney yesterday and drove it back to Melbourne today, I tried to buy a set of new Continental TC6’s from Jax Campbelltown, Mittagong and Albury, no one could get stock until next Tues, Wednesday at the earliest. Jax Essendon didn’t have stock on site, but said they’d be able to get them in by 2:30pm and if not I might be able to look at a set of Michelin Pilot Sports as an alternative, they booked me in and said “we’ll see you at 3:30pm”. They gave me a courtesy call around 2pm to say that the tyres had arrived which was great news considering they seem to be quite elusive at the moment. I even called several Bob Janes on the way from Sydney to Melbourne and had no luck either. I managed to get there at about 3:40pm due to long weekend traffic which of course I was very apologetic for, but was made to feel very welcome by the friendly team when I arrived. They did a brilliant job and even managed to have a quick look over the cars mechanicals while it was on the hoist to see if there were any other issues, thankfully everything was all good! Thank you so much for fitting me in with short notice and arranging to get the tyres in store for me, it was a pleasure to do business with you and my wife and I will definitely be back in future for tyres, servicing and mechanical repairs. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

He called after he looked at the brakes and said they didn’t actually need changing and that they had another 15,000 or so on them. He recommended to come back in 10,000km and he’d check them just in case too. I’ll be taking my business to Jax from now onwards. Honesty is priceless.

I reached out to them to install some new tyres for my car - and was called back as promised, with Inderpal taking the job at 4.30pm on a monday. His team were excellent and efficient, completing the job and the wheel alignment aswell in under half an hour. Dianne at reception was great and I cannot stress the kindness and proffesionalism that was shown me during my visit. Fantastic service. Came in on a Friday and they didn't have the tyre I needed to replace my flat one. One of the guys called up one or the other stores and they managed to get the tyre I needed to come to their store. Unfortunately I couldn't come back later that day as I was working. I came in Saturday morning and they fitted the new tyre straight away. It was friendly service and the guys there are really genuine when they want to help someone stuck in a tough situation.

This will allow you to then add your vehicle registration and search for tyres suitable for your vehicle. Alternatively you may like to search by vehicle or by tyre size from the homepage or under the Tyres drop down at the top of the page.
Select the tyres you prefer and a time to have them fitted and consider the benefits of a wheel alignment. Proceed to the cart to add your details and checkout.
All purchases include fitting, balancing, tubeless valve, waste tyre management fee & GST will be provided at the JAX Tyres & Auto store of your choosing. All orders are completed at your selected store. JAX Tyres & Auto does not deliver automotive parts to alternative addresses.

The search function provides you with tyre choices based on your vehicle's original tyre sizing (original equipment) using the information entered by you. It is vital that you enter accurate vehicle make, year, model and series information.
To avoid an incorrect fitment, we suggest that you satisfy yourself that the tyres selected for your vehicle are suitable for the intended use, comply with relevant legal guidelines and are matched to the information contained on your vehicle tyre placard. Original Equipment tyre sizes shown in search results for particular vehicles are determined based on the best information currently available to us from vehicle manufacturers and from manual inspection of new vehicles as they are released. Many vehicles have optional trim levels/packages that include different tyre sizes. This Additional Model Info is listed for you to choose from in search results as well.
Since variations based on options or vehicle manufacturer changes may determine the Original Equipment tyre size on your vehicle, always verify the size you are purchasing matches the tyre size for your vehicle, usually found on the placard located inside the driver’s door, glove box or fuel cap, or in the Owner's Manual.
If you are unsure what size is installed on your vehicle, please confirm the size as listed on the tyre sidewall before placing your order.

Consider whether your vehicle has a spare tyre or allocated storage space for a spare. If not, your vehicle will potentially be stranded in the event of a puncture.
