Our JAX Tyres & Auto Port Macquarie store is proudly owned and operated by Richard Norris, who joined JAX in 2019. He was attracted to JAX model because of its outstanding reputation and commitment to serving the community, and he quickly realised it was the perfect place for him.
Richard is passionate about the fast-paced automotive industry and is devoted to delivering excellent customer service. He finds fulfilment in helping customers get back on the road with peace of mind every day. To make their waiting time more comfortable Richard even has a transport service from his store to the local shopping centre. One memorable moment was when a customer brought in a set of 1930s wire-spoked rims for new tyres. It was a challenge that required finding a special tool to disassemble the rim before fitting the tyres! Mission completed!
Understanding the importance of giving back, Richard actively sponsors several local organisations, including Marine Rescue, Hastings Cancer Trust, Wauchope Cricket Club and Word of Life. He also makes regular donations to charity, for example to Shitbox Rally to support Cancer Council and Black Dog Rides fighting depression.
Outside of work, Richard keeps active by riding his motorbike and playing tennis. He also loves spending quality time with his beautiful wife, family, and friends.

The team and the shop are absolutely phenomenal! Got stuck on a road trip to the sunshine coast with a flat after a quick stop at the beach. Called one tyre place that was on the way out of port and the service was terrible and then to top that off they didn't even have the tyre we needed after driving there. Decided to head back into port to try another place and found ourselves here. Walked into a clean and bright shop and was quickly greeted by staff with a smile on their face. Explained I had a flat that needed replacing (gash in the sidewall), but we were in a rush considering we had our 2-year-old in the back and a boot FULL of luggage. The car was assessed on the spot, offered 3 different tyre options and they would check on a wait time. This is where our great experience became a highlight of our stop in port. Not only did they see what they could do to help, the team literally got it done right then and there with a smile on their face and not to mention at lunch time on a Friday. Very rare to see customer service this great and make it seem like a normal thing. After leaving all my partner and I could talk about was the exceptional service we had received. To the team and gentleman who served us thank you for making a rather stressful event mid road trip turn into nothing more than a bump in the road.

This will allow you to then add your vehicle registration and search for tyres suitable for your vehicle. Alternatively you may like to search by vehicle or by tyre size from the homepage or under the Tyres drop down at the top of the page.

All purchases include fitting, balancing, tubeless valve, waste tyre management fee & GST will be provided at the JAX Tyres & Auto store of your choosing. All orders are completed at your selected store. JAX Tyres & Auto does not deliver automotive parts to alternative addresses.

Original Equipment tyre sizes shown in search results for particular vehicles are determined based on the best information currently available to us from vehicle manufacturers and from manual inspection of new vehicles as they are released. Many vehicles have optional trim levels/packages that include different tyre sizes. This Additional Model Info is listed for you to choose from in search results as well.
Since variations based on options or vehicle manufacturer changes may determine the Original Equipment tyre size on your vehicle, always verify the size you are purchasing matches the tyre size for your vehicle, usually found on the placard located inside the driver’s door, glove box or fuel cap, or in the Owner's Manual.
If you are unsure what size is installed on your vehicle, please confirm the size as listed on the tyre sidewall before placing your order.

Consider whether your vehicle has a spare tyre or allocated storage space for a spare. If not, your vehicle will potentially be stranded in the event of a puncture.
