Our JAX Tyres & Auto Nowra store is proudly owned and operated by Darren Donnelly, who joined JAX in 2021. After being in the automotive industry for 20 years, Darren was looking for the next stage in his career and JAX was the perfect fit for this motorsport enthusiast!
As vehicles are an integral part of people's lives, Darren finds it rewarding to be able to provide a solution that solves problems for his customers and takes their stress away.
He recalls the day a gentleman who was struggling with some medical issues came in to get repairs on his vehicle. Later that same day, his carer came back to the store with chocolates and a thank-you card to show their appreciation for the respect and care the JAX team showed the gentleman. Darren is well aware of how big of an impact small gestures can have on others' lives.
Darren believes in looking after his local community as well. JAX Nowra is currently sponsoring Shoalhaven Superheroes, a charity that provides community care and accommodation assistance to families. In his free time, Darren loves spending quality time with his family and enjoys attending motorsport events.

They took the wheel off the trailer, removed the tyre but couldn't find a puncture so replaced the valve and resealed the bead which fixed the issue and wouldn't accept payment! My first experience with Jax Tyres was quite by accident one thunderous rainy night at 4.55 (closing time) when one of my “run flat” tyres was “dead flat” and I was quite close to Jax Tyres at Kingsford. I was desperate because I had to get back to Nowra from Sydney. The staff were very obliging, removed the “dead” tyre. This tyre was down to the steel…very dangerous at high speeds. They could not replace it with a “run flat” tyre, but with an “ordinary” tyre to enable me to get back to Nowra where the staff at Jax are equally as efficient and courteous. So forget about that other lot, give “Jax” a go. You won’t be disappointed.

They took the car, repositioned the hub cap, checked all the tyre pressures, filling them to the correct pressure, returned the car within minutes of arriving and didn't even charge me anything. Great place, great customer service!! Take my car here eveytime I need inspection, or have to have it serviced. My one complaint, the inside needs a deep cleaning and a fresh coat of paint. There are dead insects and cobwebs everywhere. And the seats they have for customers are the worst!! You will lose feeling in your legs and bum if you sit for to long on those chairs. Bring a cushion or your very own chair if you are going to sit for any length of time there, while you wait to collect your car!! Hopefully someone from JAX Tyres & Auto in Nowra will read this and do something about fixing up the inside of that store!!

I can say with confidence that Darren and Michael are the best in the business. I’ve been to quite a few different service centres over the years, but I’ve never received the level of above and beyond customer service that both Darren and Michael offer. I’ve had some urgent things that needed to get done to some of my vehicles before and no task ever seems to be too much work for them. Darren has always found a way to help me out and has always been honest, which i really appreciate when somebody is ultimately doing work to something that if not done properly can cause serious danger. I won’t use anybody else besides JAX.

Thankfully the minor issue was fixed by them within half an hour and they didnt charge me a cent. I've been using Jax for several years in Nowra and have always had a good experience. Staff have been helpful and friendly and offer good advice. I was having an issue with a very slow leak in a back wheel and Jax went out of their way to diagnose the problem which wasn't the tyre, but in fact a problem with my 3 piece rims. They did a great job in fixing the issue which meant totally disassembling the wheel to repair the issue. No more leak. Kept me informed of how long they would need the car and had it back to me exactly when they said. Also repair price was really good given the amount of labour. I would recommend Jax Nowra to anyone.

All purchases include fitting, balancing, tubeless valve, waste tyre management fee & GST will be provided at the JAX Tyres & Auto store of your choosing. All orders are completed at your selected store. JAX Tyres & Auto does not deliver automotive parts to alternative addresses.

Original Equipment tyre sizes shown in search results for particular vehicles are determined based on the best information currently available to us from vehicle manufacturers and from manual inspection of new vehicles as they are released. Many vehicles have optional trim levels/packages that include different tyre sizes. This Additional Model Info is listed for you to choose from in search results as well.
Since variations based on options or vehicle manufacturer changes may determine the Original Equipment tyre size on your vehicle, always verify the size you are purchasing matches the tyre size for your vehicle, usually found on the placard located inside the driver’s door, glove box or fuel cap, or in the Owner's Manual.

Consider whether your vehicle has a spare tyre or allocated storage space for a spare. If not, your vehicle will potentially be stranded in the event of a puncture.
