Our JAX Tyres & Auto Phillip store is proudly owned and operated by Brad Martin, who joined JAX in 2020. Brad found JAX Phillip to be the right opportunity where he could grow and apply his values.
Brad has been working in automotive industry for decades! His know-how enables him to help his customers to find the right solutions for their vehicles. Brad is fascinated by the continuously evolving industry, and he loves to keep up to date with the latest technology.
Brad won the JAX Excellence for Team Performance award at the JAX 2023 conference, which reflects his dedication to investing in his team and providing excellent customer service. In addition to being busy at his store, Brad is also an active member of the local community. He helps where he can and supports The Menslink through donations and sponsors Canberra Braves National Ice Hockey League.

I knew it wasn't going to be cheap but old mate called me and carefully explained everything required and the cost and I decided to go ahead with the job. When I picked up the car there was no extra billing surprises and the car was like driving a new car with the engine bay immaculately clean and little things like wipers and bulbs replaced as well. I'll definately go back next service as I think they are very good mechanics and the customer service was on point.

The staff here helped me out from the beginning, checking what I needed, booking me in asap and then advising that I required something else to be replaced and offering to book me in the same day to get it done (I understand this was luck that they had the parts and the time that day but the fact that they checked if it was possible is better than other customer service I’ve had in the past). Very friendly staff, happy with the whole experience.

The booking process is easy from go-to-whoa, I appreciate the reminder texts. I like that they keep me informed of potential costs and the time-window. Generally I have found Jax Tyres go above and beyond on their service - they provide great value and it's clear when I collect my car that they not only have done the actual job the vehicle was booked in for, but often provide information or feedback on other mechanical aspects that I was not necessarily expecting but great to know and again highly valued to me as a customer. Their pricing is on par with any other tyre shop, although their time just before Christmas I was amazed by, under the pump with a lot people trying to get their vehicle fitted with tyres for travelling they somehow found the time for us! Early in the year, I had another vehicle of ours look at by Jax. This vehicle unfortunately had a meeting with a wombat late one night, and this here is where Jax tyres in Phillip won me over with their service as they did a amazing job with the wheel alignment on this vehicle!!! Thanks to the whole team, and we will see you again soon.

I recently had new tyres fitted to my Sprinter van and minor service work undertaken (radiator plush and gearbox and diff oil change). Additionally, I had a radiator flush and suspension work undertaken on my special and loved car. My approach to the work done was not from a budget perspective nor did I want to feel I was paying a premium for it. In other words, a fair price for quality tyres (you get what you pay for) and a fair charge for good service/mechanical work gone. My whole experience with Brad and the team at Jax Tyres Phillip was outstanding. Professional office presentation, friendly approach, confirmation of work to be done and estimated finish. Communication that work was completed and confirmation of work completed (and other advises) at invoice presentation. We had a "glitch" with my car which required two overnight "stays" while rare parts were sought and the work done. Brad and the team explained and demonstrated to me what they discovered and explained what was needed to rectify the matter. Two days later my car was returned to me in excellent condition. I was very happy with the communication provided, the service delivered and work performed. They excelled when the chips (for me) were down. Thank you Jax Phillip

Such a pity I can't write another review. Back for the second time in a year, my first experience was excellent and my next experience was exactly the same. Just wanted to check my tyres were wearing OK and all in order. They treated me with respect. No work required, other than a wheel alignment, they took care of it all. The people in the shop were fantastic. They made me feel really comfortable about my tyre choice and wheel alignment. It was finished sooner than they said which was a nice surprise.

Amazing staff and service!!!!! Brought my car in with a flat tyre an hour before closing time on New Year’s Eve. Nothing was too hard for the boys. Tyre replaced and advice given. I wish I had a six pack or two with me to say thank you. Would definitely recommend these guys to everyone.

Was unfortunate to blow two low profile tyres on Canberra's pothole ridden roads and Jax Tyres in Phillip were the only ones out of 3 that I contacted who offered to get in special tyres overnight and so that's where the tow truck was directed. Then found out that the wheels were dented and buckled from the impact and so the wheels were taken away to be repaired. Jax tyres were aware that I was not local and certainly went beyond their normal service to ensure that I was back on the road within 2 days and with an alignment suggested and conducted. I can only hope that ACT Roads will be half as helpful as JAX were when I hit them for compensation for the damage their unattended potholes caused. Obviously as I am not local I cannot say that I would be back again but I can certainly recommend Canberrans to this business as their customer service is exemplary! Thank you to all concerned!

I write reviews when I get really good service or really bad service. Jax Tyres Phillip is the former. When me and my family turned up at very short notice near closing time with my wife's car having a puncture, and my car just put in for an overnight service, the manager said he wasn't able to do it before the next day. When I told him our predicament, he stayed back and did the repair himself... even though he had other jobs to do! Great service! Friendly staff! Highly recommended!

Discovered I couldn't take my wheel bolts off. About half had been burred so tyre lever would not fit in. Had new tyres fitted there few months ago. Figured they had burred the bolts during refit due to too much pressure. Was annoyed when seeking redress. How wrong I was. Seems Ford mondeo and focus have dodgy aluminium covers on the bolts which easily distort. Not Jax fault. Nevertheless gave me 20 new bolts free of charge. Hard to beat that! Very pleased with service.

Not only did I walk in off the street asking if the team at Jax could help me but I walked in with no appointment on a Saturday morning asking if they could help me out and was not turned away and the team at Jax said they would get the job done for me. Brad and the boys at Jax tyres went above and beyond to get my ute done right and on time for me even with there busy schedule nothing was a drama and I couldn’t be happier with the work they carried out on my ute. This will allow you to then add your vehicle registration and search for tyres suitable for your vehicle. Alternatively you may like to search by vehicle or by tyre size from the homepage or under the Tyres drop down at the top of the page.
Select the tyres you prefer and a time to have them fitted and consider the benefits of a wheel alignment. Proceed to the cart to add your details and checkout.
All purchases include fitting, balancing, tubeless valve, waste tyre management fee & GST will be provided at the JAX Tyres & Auto store of your choosing. All orders are completed at your selected store. JAX Tyres & Auto does not deliver automotive parts to alternative addresses.

Original Equipment tyre sizes shown in search results for particular vehicles are determined based on the best information currently available to us from vehicle manufacturers and from manual inspection of new vehicles as they are released. Many vehicles have optional trim levels/packages that include different tyre sizes. This Additional Model Info is listed for you to choose from in search results as well.
Since variations based on options or vehicle manufacturer changes may determine the Original Equipment tyre size on your vehicle, always verify the size you are purchasing matches the tyre size for your vehicle, usually found on the placard located inside the driver’s door, glove box or fuel cap, or in the Owner's Manual.
