German automobile magazine, ACE Lenkrad has published the results of its annual summer tyre test, with Nexen Tyre’s N’blue HD Plus 195/65 R15 91V named the ‘Test Winner’.
The test included 10 models of tyres from various manufacturers fitted to a Volkswagen.
Nexen N’blue HD Plus received the highest total score of 152 out of 190 for overall tests, and scored the highest for wet braking test with 63 out of 80.
“It is a great honour that the ‘Test Winner’ was given to N/blue Plus by ACE Lenkrad this year after receiving a ‘Very Recommendable’ rating by Auto Bild last year, which provides that Nexen Tyre’s outstanding products and performance-driven technology are highly regarded. We expect that this result will add further proof that the N’blue HD Plus is an ideal choice for more global car manufacturers and consumers,” said Nexen Tyre in a statement.

Hankook Tyre’s Kinergy Eco K425 tied for 2nd place.
Nexen Tyre supplies original equipment tyres for various global car manufacturers, including FCA, Mitsubishi, Volkswagen, Skoda, SEAT and others.
Additionally, the company is strengthening its global presence with a particular focus on the European market; last year becoming an official sponsor of Manchester City Football Club and commencing construction of a new tyre manufacturing plant in the Czech Republic.
