Dunlop will supply its Sport Maxx RT tyre to Mercedes-AMG as original equipment on its new CLA 45 AMG model – a tyre specially designed for the sporty coupe.
The Sport Maxx RT, like all Dunlop tyres, has been built using Dunlop’s racing technologies and is characterised by its high level of grip on dry and wet roads, combined with excellent handling capabilities and great braking performance.
“The fitment on the new CLA 45 AMG is another example of our ability to deliver new levels of excellence to high performance driving,” said Guillaume Carli, marketing manager at Dunlop EMEA.
“Our Sport Maxx RT tyres deliver excellent performance, enabling the massive power generated by the CLA 45 AMG to be transferred to the road in an optimal manner.”
This new fitment is in line with several other fitments of Dunlop’s Sport Maxx RT and Sport Maxx Race to new high performance Mercedes-AMG vehicles, including the C63 AMG Coupe Black Series, the A45 AMG, the SLS AMG GT, and now its CLA 45 AMG model.
