The Dunlop Direzza DZ03G has taken out the title of Australia’s best performing semi-slick tyre, blowing away all opposition in the category in the 2009 MOTOR Magazine Tyre Test with a totally dominant performance.
The Dunlop tyre scored 192.5 across all the test categories, a massive 95 points ahead of its nearest rival.
“This is a huge result, and one that we could not be prouder of,” said Ken Wieden, Dunlop’s Motorsport & Motorcycle Manager.
“To have come out so far ahead of all the tyres tested just shows the quality and precision of this tyre, and is a great reflection of why Dunlop is the tyre of choice in many Australian and world motorsport categories, including the V8 Supercar Championship Series.”

In addition to Dunlop convincingly taking the top award in the semi-slick category, it also performed exceptionally well in the road tyre class with the SP Sport Maxx GT finishing in second position behind the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric.
