Bridgestone Hosting its 2020 Training Days
Bridgestone Central Europe is once again hosting its popular Bridgestone Training Days in three different driving safety and driving technology centres. Numerous trading partners from Germany and Austria as well as from Finland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark are expected to attend. In theory and practice workshops on-site, the dealers will experience the highly convincing advantages of the Bridgestone premium tyre Turanza T005, the new all-season tyre Firestone Multiseason Gen02 and the run-flat systems DriveGuard and B-Seal. The Bridgestone Training Days 2020 will start at the ADAC driving safety centre in Nohra (Thuringia) from March 3rd, and on March 12th, a workshop will also be offered for the first time for the commercial vehicle sector.
In order to clearly demonstrate the advantages of Bridgestone and Firestone Premium products, in 2020 Bridgestone is once again inviting dealers in the Central Region to get to know and test the current tyre portfolio and innovative mobility solutions at theoretical and practical workshops. "In addition to our practical training in the field of cars and trucks, another focus is on e-mobility,” said Christian Mühlhäuser, Managing Director Bridgestone Central Europe.
"In addition to market development and an overview, we will also show the results of our end user study, which we include in the development of new tyres." On March 12, 2020 at the ADAC driving safety centre Hansa, near Lüneburg, the dealer training in the area will also cover commercial vehicles for the first time.
"With our theory and practical workshops, we want to give our retail partners strong sales arguments," continued Christian Mühlhäuser.
“The practical part on the test track in particular leaves a lasting impression and helps dealers and sellers in the consultation to underpin theoretical knowledge with personal experience. If there are any questions on the spot, our team of experts can clarify them immediately. ”
Workshop Cars: Premium summer and all-season tyres and mobility solutions
In spring 2019, the Turanza T005 was chosen as the test winner in the large ADAC summer tyre test with top scores on both wet and dry roads. In the wet category, the Turanza T005, which carries the EU tyre label “A” with wet grip for its entire replacement line-up, is a pioneer [1] and will be available in 2020 in over 160 sizes for 14 to 21-inch rims. The tyre can now also be selected in 25 sizes from 16 to 19 inches using the company's own DriveGuard technology. In addition to the innovative emergency system, the puncture protection solution B-Seal is also part of the package on the company's training program. B-Seal is Bridgestone's automatic sealing technology, which is used for tyre damage, of up to 5 mm diameter in the tread, caused by nails, stones or other objects.
In addition, the participants will be showcased the advantages of the new Firestone Multiseason Gen02 on site. Firestone has developed this all-season touring tyre with the aim of increasing performance and increasing the scenarios where the tyres can be used, in order to meet the increased requirements of many vehicle types and drivers.
